SCAN TO PDF · THE DETAILS
Privacy Policy
How your documents and personal information are handled, and the choices available to you.
Last updated November 2, 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers the Scan to PDF iPhone and iPad app and this product website, pdf.logplus.app. The provider is the developer identified on the App Store listing for Scan to PDF. For privacy questions or requests, email admin@logplus.app. Data handling depends on the version and features you use.
2. Documents, photos, and local storage
The app stores scanned images, imported photos, drafts, edits, PDF settings, and exported PDFs on your device. Document capture, image processing, page arrangement, and PDF generation happen on the device. The normal scanning workflow does not upload your document library to our backend.
You choose when to share an exported file using the system share sheet. The recipients and services you choose may process that file under their own policies. An image or document you deliberately include in a support request is handled as support content. Normal iOS device backup settings may include app data; manage those copies through your Apple settings.
3. Permissions and preferences
Camera access is used to capture document pages. The system photo picker supplies only the photos you select for import. Notifications are used for support replies when you enable them. You can manage system permissions in iOS Settings. The app stores preferences such as paper settings, sound, haptics, and music on the device.
Optional background music is free and off by default. Enabling it requests an audio recording from a Cloudflare-hosted service and caches it for later playback. That network request can expose ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, to the delivery provider. Disabling music stops playback and cancels pending downloads.
4. Installation and purchase records
The app creates a random installation identifier and authentication secret stored in the device Keychain. It uses that identity for purchase verification and support. The identifier may remain in Keychain after the app is deleted; deleting documents does not necessarily remove it.
Our Cloudflare-hosted backend receives installation and technical information such as app and build versions, app identifier, operating-system version, device family/model, and the time the service first observes that installation. This supports installation registration, purchase fulfillment, restoration, and troubleshooting. It is not a copy of your document library.
For in-app purchases, Apple processes payment. The app sends Apple-signed transaction information to the backend for verification. Records can include the installation identifier, product, transaction and original transaction identifiers, purchase date, environment, ownership information, and refund or revocation status. Apple may also send signed server notifications. The verified records support durable purchase access, restoration, and authorized support. We do not receive your Apple Account password or full payment card number. The verification service does not retain full raw signed transaction payloads as purchase records.
5. App usage diagnostics
The app records first-party screen visits, fixed action identifiers, foreground usage durations, and timing information to understand how its features are used. Collection is enabled by default. Records use the app’s random installation reference and may include session and event identifiers, app version and build, time-zone offset, device environment, Premium status, whether built-in content is being used, and whether an administrator session is active.
These events do not contain document contents, photos, filenames, typed document text, support messages, contact emails, or selected page ranges. They are not provided to advertising networks or data brokers for cross-app advertising. For questions or requests to delete uploaded usage records, contact admin@logplus.app.
Usage records can be queued locally for up to seven days before delivery to the app’s tenant-scoped backend. Raw uploaded usage data is scheduled for removal after 90 days, and daily summaries after 365 days. Data required for purchases or a support conversation is handled separately.
6. Support conversations and email
When you send an in-app support message, the service receives the category, message body, contact email, installation reference, conversation identifiers, and any image you choose to attach. If you include diagnostics, they describe the app/build and OS version, device family, app language, and Premium state. Authorized administrators can read and respond to support conversations.
The in-app flow registers a push token, app identifier, notification state, locale, and development/production notification environment. Push delivery uses Apple Push Notification service to alert you to a reply. Messages and related records are stored in Cloudflare D1; selected support images are stored in non-public Cloudflare R2 storage. Records are scoped to this app’s tenant within a shared service.
Email sent to admin@logplus.app is routed by Cloudflare to the developer’s configured mailbox. Email and in-app support are separate channels. Please send only what is needed to explain your request, and do not send account passwords or payment card details.
7. This website and service providers
This website is delivered using Cloudflare Workers and static assets. Our website code does not add advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts, account registration, document uploads, or a payment form. Hosting and security services may process technical request information, including IP address, browser/device information, requested address, and security logs. Essential security cookies may be applied by the hosting provider.
Apple provides the App Store, purchases, notifications, and device services. Cloudflare provides website and API delivery, database and attachment storage, music delivery, and email routing. Your selected sharing recipients and email providers may also process information. See Apple’s Privacy Policy and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for their respective services. Service providers may process information outside your country or region.
8. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Manage local documents and PDFs in the app. Reset All Data removes the app’s local draft/PDF library and edits after confirmation, while retaining preferences, purchase rights, and account-related information. Uninstalling the app may remove its local files; neither action automatically deletes previously shared files, device backups, Keychain identifiers, or server-side purchase and support records.
Purchase and support records are retained as needed to provide the service, handle restoration, resolve requests, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations; this policy does not promise a fixed retention period for those records. The usage-data schedule is described above. Backup removal and legally required retention may affect when deletion is completed.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other handling of personal data, and to raise a concern with a relevant authority. Email admin@logplus.app to make a request. We may need enough information to identify the relevant app installation or conversation and verify the request. We will explain any applicable limits instead of treating a local reset as deletion of all server records.
9. Security, children, and updates
The app’s service requests use HTTPS. Access to customer conversations and administrative records is restricted, and installation credentials are stored in Keychain. No method of storage or transmission provides a guarantee of complete security; protect your device, Apple Account, and backups.
The service is not presented as a children’s service, and we do not intentionally request children’s personal information for support or marketing. If you believe a child has supplied personal data that should be removed, contact us so we can review the request.
We may update this policy as the app or its services change. The version and update date appear at the top. For questions, use the support page or email admin@logplus.app.
